Associate

Matthew Acierno joined Gruppo, Levey & Co. in 2007 with four years experience in mergers, acquisitions and public and private financings. Prior to joining GLC, he was an Associate at Paramount BioCapital, a boutique investment bank, where he focused on the initiation and execution of M&A transactions and equity financings for North American biotechnology companies. From the initial identification of acquisition targets for buy-side clients, Mr. Acierno was involved in aspects of M&A transactions including analysis, due diligence, and negotiation. He was also actively involved in the firm’s capital raising efforts for public and private biotechnology companies with North American institutional investors.

At GLC, Mr. Acierno conducts financial, company, and valuation analyses, assists in the determination of client strategies and drafts offering memoranda and marketing materials in support of M&A and private financing transactions.

Mr. Acierno received a B.S. in Finance and Economics from New York University’s Leonard Stern School of Business and an M.B.A. from the Richard Ivey School of Business.
